Penang Road Famous "Teo Chew Chendul" @ Main Place USJ 21. They finally opened a branch here in Subang Jaya. Been hearing about this place but never had the chance to try it out. "Original Chendul" has quite a generous amount of red beans and the green pandan jelly.
I find it odd to have Crème Brûlée on the menu of a Japanese restaurant but nevertheless it was a nice dessert. Is it worth the RM5.90 for it? If you crave for dessert, then yes.
Had Glutinous Rice Dumplings in Fermented Rice Wine first time in Paradise Dynasty and never miss to get a bowl of this sweet soup as dessert every time we dine here. It may taste strange for some due to the fermented rice, but that is the aroma that we love.
I think my eggs benedict is poached to perfection. The yolk oozes out and I saved 1 whole yolk and have it 'popped' in my mouth!. Love it!!
Our first main dish was the Pho Beef Combination. It was a very ‘beefed up’ dish! It came with beef balls, slices, shanks, tendons and tripes. Boiled for four hours, and simmered for another two to release the beef’s oils and natural flavours, this dish is rich in flavour and texture. We could even adjust the level of spiciness of our pho with a spicy satay sauce that came with it.
Unique flavours melt in ur mouth! Must try especially the Lavender Honey or for a wild taste go for Nasi Lemak
I'm pretty sure I will be back to attack those crispy sweet potato chips as I'm really hooked! This burger revolution is definitely a win and I hope they bring in more special burgers into the menu.
Personally I still prefer the ones served @ Blue Reef, Straits Quay, Penang. Found the batter on the fish here a bit too oily and not as crispy.
For a price like this, I would say its a buffet spread that worth a try as it only allow you to enjoy 2 hours dinning which is far more than enough.
Taiwan Spicy Noodle House serves delicious noodles with authentic Taiwanese flavours.
The spicy noodles, also known as xiang la mian is as advertised, both fragrant and spicy! It is topped with red chilli oil. The noodle itself was good, very smooth with a nice texture. The spicy one is definitely the way to go, if you can take the heat. We ended up mixing both the spicy and non-spicy noodles together, and the spiciness then was more tolerable for me. Both noodles were topped with some crispy topping (I think its deep fried wantan skin and garlic). Overall, a very good bowl of noodles.
