• Overall Rating: 7/10. With hearsay of being one of the best sarawak kolo mee around, I somewhat approve. However many of my native Sarawakian friends insists that there's better versions around town. If you like the drier version of Sarawak Kolo Mee, this is for you.

• Lately I keep hear people talk about Sarawak Laksa. As usual, my curiosity about food is very high, so I search for a good one to try and my final decission to try my first bowl of Sarawak Laksa at Restoran Hock Thai SS2 which is near to my office. Located behind the SK Taman Sea, it is the only shop row in the middle of housing area. Not hard to find if you familiar with SS2. Restoran Hock Thai is always full house during lunch break and the shop is also very hot!!

• Poon choy literally means vegetables in a basin, it is actually a Hakka specialty. In the old days they prepared it only on special occasions like festivals or weddings. The food are placed layer by layer on a big bowl and with a flame at the bottom to keep it warm.
