We are a Western and local food restaurant located at Imago Shopping Mall, Kota Kinabalu offering unique twists to timeless classics. We're listed as Top 10 best restaurant in Kota Kinabalu in TripAdvisor. Tavern Kitchen & Bar is about unique and delicious food and beverages made from the best Sabah produce to give you exciting versions of classic dishes. We use Sabahan ingredients such as tuhau, buah tarap, bambangan and even salted fish in our Western and local dishes! We also offer daily performances including live band featuring celebrity singer Esther Applunius, belly dancers, traditional Sumazau and Magunatip bamboo dance, Argentine tango, bartenders juggling bottles of fire and more. Our exciting menu is created by renowned chef and cookbook author, Nicholas Pillai. The interior design is by Ben Firdaus who was host of the second season of ID television show, Casa Impian.

The lamb burger taste like heaven, I do recommend all to try. Setup is wonderful, it was full house when I tried there, the soup are abit too creamy, not for me. But my gf loves it.

I had wonderful time there last month, we are celebrating our team mates birthday, it was fun, the band performance are good and add some good memories in our life diary when they join celebration with us and at the same time entertaining us and others as well Food was fantastic and the drinks ..well done bartender.

Went there with my boyfriend, the environment is nice (love the design), the staff is exceptional (good job!) and the food... Ahhh... No words can described! It's nyummy and delicious! Will come here again for sure!
