The serving portions are reasonable and definitely taste divine.
Ah Koong's fishballs deserve its reputation, as they are truly fresh made. I like the springy texture very much, but the price of RM1.50 per fishball looks a bit overpriced?
Soon Cafe is established not long ago, it is not a very old and traditional cafe, but is surprisngly all time crowded by people. Soon Cafe is famous for its Hainanese Chicken Rice, Emerald Mee and Hakka Lei Cha.
Personally I feel this is just like our local Teow Chew Porridge. Just like the Teow Chew style, it is more watery and you can choose either sweet potato or palin white porridge. The tasteless porridge will accompany by dishes such as braised meat, preserved vegetables, braised beancurd, peanuts, duck eggs and many more.
If you are fan of Penang Hokkien Prawn noodle or craving for Penang Loh mee, don't forget to drop by the stall from 6pm - 12am (Tue - Sun)...you might love it just like me...:)
The foods were just average...well, nothing to shout about if compare with those nice western food restaurant in Johor Bahru.
An interesting dessert house with durian as their signature. In my opinion, they still have plenty of rooms to improve but I would like to give a "like" to their variety of desserts in their menu.
