Tai Bak-was served with shaved ice and only pandan infused syrup, topped with shredded pink and white cendols; and black grass jelly cubes.
The Pai Tee (top hats) consisting of crispy mould filled with chopped jicama, julienned cucumber and omelette strips was executed well, though we had a slightly better version a day before at Amy’s Heritage Nyonya Cuisine.
For me, it is something difference where they put in cracker on top of the hoo kiew noodles...I think this is their specialty...
rice and sambal are the main elements in a nasi lemak. and both weren’t done right here. rice was lack of the lemak fragrant and sambal was just, not right.
