Those who have tried Antipodean would agree with the majority that it serves one of the best big breakfasts in town.
jkdrooling.blogspot.comFamous for their Australian-style brekkie and coffee, I opted for a lighter meal of French Toast with Berry Compote (RM14.00/AUD4.80) instead of a heavy big breakfast. I should have asked for the toast to be wholemeal instead of white bread. Berry compote was delectable, I finished it all.
cafe, coffee, dessert, brunch
chryshijing.blogspot.com.auObviously, Antipodean has many more choices to choose from, but according to my friends, the best is only this two dishes out of so many other choices.
chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.comwhile the food was mediocre, the service at antipodean has left a bitter after taste that makes me wonder if there will be a return visit. probably not.

www.nava-k.comWell, I would just have to comment it's something in between good and bad, might be I have an oriental taste bud, and it might be good for your western taste bud, perhaps?
www.nickchan.netI am pretty satisfied with my lunch.
www.jackieloi.comWill I visit again? Definitely yes! I want to try the other dishes :)
www.carolyntay.comOur first visit was truly memorable. We will definitely comeback for more!!!
www.cindysplanet.comOverall Rating: 8/10 for the decent portion of breakfast meal and value for money. The toasts was toasted to crisp, scrambled eggs was not too runny and the bacon was done just right. Coffee was a plus also. This place is beyond doubt one of the best breakfast places in Bangsar to visit in my humble opinion or perhaps in KL itself even. I would definitely return.
spicysharon.blogspot.comOverall, Antipodean Cafe left me a quite good impression with their good service. The foods are not so pricey too although it is located at Bangsar. Worth for give it a try.
www.nikelkhor.comDefinitely a very good stop for meeting, chit-chatting and perhaps dating.
summerkid123.blogspot.comQuality of food is normally very hard to distinguish unless by a food expert, but I do feel the different of this platter from the usual McDonald's quality.
1simpleplan.blogspot.comWhile Antipodean serves good food, I am very disappointed with the proprietor who may have shown that making money exceeds the expected social responsbibility expected of him. After a first experience at Antipodean, I decided to bring my mother to have breakfast/brunch. As my mother is 85 years old, I dropped her with my wife at Antipodean whilst I proceeded to park my car approximately 200 metres away. When I arrived at the outlet, I was shocked that the proprietor refused to allow an elderly woman to enter and sit on a vacant table because I was not "physically present". He proceeded to allocate vacant tables to other customers who came much later than me and continued to ask my aged mother to stand and to wait in the hot sun. When I continued to enquire, all he said was to wait another "5 minutes" but tables again were allocated to other customers. After 15-20 minutes, we simply gave up from exasperation and went elsewhere to have our breakfast. No doubt Antipodean serves good food and is very busy, but this expatriate proprietor has shown that this is more important than common civic courtesy and I speculate that money rules for him.
Tables run out fast especially during weekend's breakfast. Be early! It's definitely a good place to hang out or perhaps for a coffee break.
iloveyummyfood.comWe hear the place is jam packed on most mornings, especially on weekends. So if you're not the kind that likes to fight with people and have the luxury of time, pay a visit preferably after lunch on a weekday. You'll almost have the whole place to yourselves. We also hear the coffee is good though, so if a kick of caffeine is your thing, stop by for a cuppa!
dropsofcontentment.blogspot.comThis cafe specialised in everything made in-house from sourcing their coffee beans, roasting, grinding, brewing your cup of coffee, right down to cooking and baking. They market their own brand of coffee under Lava Coffee and Merdeka Coffee where you can make your purchases online or on the locations stated in the websites.
babeinthecitykl.blogspot.comAntipodean is very popular among the locals and expatriates. So you have to be prepare to eat really fast. Otherwise you could find yourself being stared at by other hungry patrons eagerly waiting for your table.
www.applefoodees.comWhen Jon was visiting, we looked around for a good western breakfast place. We've often had Asian breakfasts and had yet to find that quaint, unpretentious cafe that served simple, no nonsense breakfast. Oh plenty of places do eggs and toast but I wanted a place with more variety to their breakfast menu and one that didn't skimp on quality ingredients. And that's when we found Antipodean.
Recommended dishes: Smoked salmon omelette, fresh fruit bowl w/ yogurt
boopings.blogspot.comWith a menu as intriguing and healthy as the one that adorns the wall, it is easy to see why Antipodean is a magnet for foodies seeking a change from fried rice, providing they are willing to fork out that bit more.
youhadyourlunch.blogspot.comAntipodean came highly recommended by friends as a cafe to happily pass a morning in Bangsar. If you ignore the view from the window you could easily believe you were in a sophisticated nook in Melbourne or Sydney. The cool sharp setting with staff uniformed in black giv

juliansi.blogspot.comAntipodean Café is a good bet for good breakfasts and even better coffee! Definitely one worth waking up early for!
www.eatonlylar.comThe All day Breakfast and the Big Breakfast are such awesome comfort filling food. And as such, I've also ended up ordering the same food the last 4 visits.
www.missyblurkit.comMenu on the wall . love the concept. service was good . I would probably suggest their air condition to be improved.
su-yee.blogspot.comAll in all, Antipodean Cafe has all the makings of a great breakfast joint – great quality coffee and consistently good food.
