Beats and Brunch at Lafite is priced at RM499 nett per person, 12noon - 3pm, every FIRST Sunday of the month only... the next one being on 3rd Sept, followed by 1st October, 5th Novemeber and 3rd December. For the drinkers, you'd know that a bottle of Verve retail is already between RM220-RM250, and that's from the shops....Drink any bottle at a 5 star establishment will probably be around RM400...so from that angle, if you love food and bubbly, its a reasonable deal.

Beats and Brunch is a new concept of dining at Lafite, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur which will debut on Sunday, 6 August 2017 between 12noon to 3pm. The brunch will feature an array of ‘all-you-can-eat’ contemporary French cuisine with delicious entrées, mains, desserts and a la minute delights prepared by Executive Chef Olivier Pistre. This will be paired with live DJ music and free flow of champagne, wine and cocktails. Beats and Brunch at Lafite is priced at RM 499 nett per person and will be taking place every first Sunday of the month, from 12noon to 3pm starting 6 August 2017. The following brunch sessions will be on 3 September, 1 October, 5 November and 3 December 2017.

Overall, it is a very good restaurant with excellent food. However, the service is a little too rigid and the price is quite high but you would have to expect that in a high class French restaurant.

Reason to visit: impeccable service that is distinctly ‘Shangri –La’, Braised Lamb Shank, Spiced Strawberry Cobbler with Balsamic Ice Cream, Pink Verjus Sorbet, Creamed Barley, Qwehli Prawn and Crab Salad, an exceptional list of champagne (at least 40!)
