Lunch at Teck Seng, Penang
Where Lebuh Chulia and Lebuh Carnavon meets, you find Sai Lam Coffee Shop and oh wonderful wanton noodles.
Wanton Mee @ Sai Lam (or Nam?) Coffee Shop, Corner of Chulia St and Carnarvon St
The typical Penang style of crowding around the stall to dip the skewers into the boiling water, and eating while standing. Quite a good selection and very cheap too!
Chulia Street Lok Lok
This meal costs us only RM 18.00 inclusive of 4 fragrant oiled rice and an ice Chinese tea. Won’t mind coming back when we crave for some chicken rice in Penang.
Oo Kio is actually a bowl of jelly that cut into cubes and then added with a lychee and a slice of lemon before being topped with crushed ice. It is sold by the owner with her son (each taking shifts) on a small lorry.
Speedy Makan-makan: Part 2 - Oo Kio
I found the foods were very disappointing and I doubt that I will be going back for a second visit.
