Him Heang Pastries still remain its standard and biscuits were still freshly baked from oven daily, creating yummy taste.

Naughty Nuri’s
Hokkien Mee is one of the best hawker delicacies in Penang. Go early for the hokkien mee or otherwise you will need to wait very long for your bowl of mee. Ask for the pork lard to go with the hokkien mee. You definitely won’t be disappointed by the crispiness of it. The hokkien mee usually sold out before 11am.
The 40 minutes awaited hokkien mee doesn't fail my expectation. A great breakfast complemented with wide selection of Nyonya Kuih Muih at One Corner Cafe
The restaurant setting is very simple and fully air-conditioned. Its main focus is on its fish steamboat and homemade Yong Tau Fu where the fish paste is made from mackerel fish.
Prices are slightly on the higher side but rest-assured, the quality of the food will be there.
Housed within the oldest restaurant building in Penang (built circa 1929), Loke Thye Kee Restaurant* serves mainly Chinese cuisine, prepared the traditional way by our own chefs. We specialise in Hainanese dishes like Chicken Chop, Chicken Rice, Macaroni Pie, Spring Rolls & Curry Fish Head. All dishes are prepared fresh daily. Our guests can choose to dine within its cool, air-conditioned interiors or al-fresco on the balconies. Loke Thye Kee Restaurant will provide our guests with good food within nostalgic surroundings.
Loke Thye Kee building is the place you find yourself passing by every time you drive down Burma Road from Penang Road. A distinctive landmark, this building with a cafe, restaurant and bar has ceased operations for a few months. It has since re-opened under new management – by the people that runs Blue Reef Fish & Chips.
The place is simple but the menu is seriously worth a look. Find Eataliano aturmah Road, a prominent corner lot at the junction of Burmah Road and Cantonment Road, Pulau Tikus.
A place where you can find Authentic Thai cuisine in Penang.
Fish is perfectly deep fried to very crispy while the deep fried garlic gave a strong boost to it flavor together with pepper powder which make it overall taste extremely good, although the fish is deep fried but it still juicy inside.
Overall, we were most impressed with their salad including hard-to-find salad rocket with quality similar to fine dining restaurants or 4-star hotels.
Formerly known as Kwai Lock Coffeeshop
It was not too wet.. i dont like my 'fried noodles' to be too wet. hehehe... (yupe I am quite particular about this).. hehehe...
There are many good, decent, subpar outlets in Penang but my recommendation would always be to go to Raffe’s.
Round up our dinner with La Piña as our dessert. Extremely crispy version of pineapple pancake, topped with candied pecan, fresh strawberries and mint leaves. Finished with Vanilla ice cream. A delightful dessert commingled of sweet, salt and sour sensation.
