The service here is usually impecabble and they are usually quite attentive.
We’ve been meaning to come here for a very long time now. The Pandan Indah and Setapak outlets have always been very dear to our hearts and visiting the original Sri Steven’s Corner here in OUG is almost like performing a pilgrimage. The coordinates provided by Google Map ultimately led us to a quiet residential area (somewhere along Jalan Hujan Emas). We made some quick adjustments to the coordinates and a search for Jalan Hujan Rahmat 2 on our GPS navigator eventually led us properly to the premises. Located along a narrow road near the OUG wet market, we were thankful to be here during the daytime, we can imagine that at night (during peak hours) parking can be a b*tch here. Cat and Brendan enjoyed their dishes immensely; Brendan took particular pleasure in his banana leaf rice with spiced chicken cutlets. I had to agree with the good reviews the Nasi Lemak received, and adored it as well.

With the 55 years in yong tau fu making business, Mr Ray had transformed its business from the traditional yong tau fu to the creative idea which is the yong tau foo grilled over charcoal.
One of the highly recommended and rather addictive will be this Curry Pig Skin with Dried Shrimps Cheong Fun RM3.90 where each mouthful comes slurpy and good.
Summergirl tried out pan mee soup from one of the stalls in Sun Sea, which fares equally good. Springy noodles laid in a bowl of clear soup, topped with crispy deep fried anchovies, mince meat, sliced black fungus and vegetables. Heard that Sun Sea Restaurant serves good Penang Curry Mee too, will check out next time.

Overall, the roasted chicken tasted not bad but only come in few cubes and find it slightly expensive for both the main course and the soup. Prefer the one in Taman Billion, Cheras.
Overall, this is not a bad restaurant to be if you are "saliva dropping" for a Penang but unwillingly to travel 5 hours for them, this place is the best choice.
We also had the Horumon combination platter of under tongue meat, prime beef tongue and pillar tripe @ RM38.16. They are marinated in salt and pepper, and are recommended to be dipped into the lemon juice to counter the saltiness. The thinly sliced beef tongues had a unique tender and chewy texture that I personally love.
Also, considering that it is air-conditioned restaurant + service is friendly, attentive and fast + 24-hours business hours, we will say that Yen Yen A One is worth a visit if you just want to fulfil your craving for dim sum, not to mention the quality.
The homemade ice creams comes with unique flavours like caramel and more. And what I love is their rum and raisins which is fragrantly done with the taste of rum. Nice !

Overall, Chun Ciou Hot Pot is worth checking out if your focus is more on concept exploration, service and ambiance. It’s probably the classiest steamboat restaurant in KL after Yezi.
