Golden Valley Chinese Muslim Restaurant
-
For authentic Chinese food which is halal and pork free, Golden Valley comes highly recommended. Its one of our faves in town when we dine with our Muslim pals.

No 16 Jalan Wan Kadir 4 Taman Tun Dr Ismail Kuala Lumpur
Probably the best halal char kuey teow I’ve had in KL .
This restaurant which specializes in authentic Italian fares, is also worth visiting for daily lunch and dinner.
Overall I have to applaud the owners for offering Chinese style roast meats that is halal but tasted so similar to the original versions although they had to work around some ingredients which they can’t use.
The food served there actually caught us by surprise. A fusion of western + local dishes. Coupled with super friendly waiters and barista, the whole experience dining at Fickles was pleasant. Pop by if you are in the neighbourhood, because we are sure we will!
"Hor Fun" Soup (RM4), Dry "Hor Fun" (RM4), poached chicken drumstick (RM4.50)
Find it mediocre. Tasted normal as well
Located same row with Pizza Hut TTDI, UGood Bun & Desserts is a dessert house that serve ice-cream yogurt, dessert, juice & cake.
Their specialty are Foo Chow, Hakka and Local food, simple dishes which are not too fancy.
All in all, + drinks, this cost us less than RM50. And 4 full kittehs that day. Sometimes you can pay more than 40 but still do not feel full.
