Restoran Yau Kee

Very interesting meal of Chicken Bread, famous in Kampar. The bread is sweet. Chicken Curry is very fragrant, not too spicy.

We had about 10 of these famous Kampar Zha Yuan, loosely translated as fried balls. Fried to golden brown perfection, these fried balls were really addictive. It was flavourful and crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Kampar Food Court – Char Koay Teow Uncle On A Stool, Lou Shu Fun & Char Siew Glutinous Rice
36 Stalls is one of the oldest food court in Kampar town located near to a latest new cinema complex.
Overall the food was good but the food presentation was the same - sliced tomatoes, cucumber...etc and got a bit monotonous to ours eyes.
The Prawn mee soup is not as robust unlike others-light prawn taste with not too much of red chillies scummed oil-beansprouts, sliced fish cake, fresh shrimps, Chinese chives and rice vermicelli.
It was a 5 course dinner set with sweet dessert and ended with a bakery bought strawberry vanilla cake. Parking is ample.
