Sozo Japanese Restaurant
-
The tempura morriawasa / assorted tempura vegetables are good.
The dish is good and portion is big enough, a good place to having brunch but very crowded.
The restaurant is located next to a shop selling Japanese food. They serve both classic and fusion sushi.
The quality of the Japanese cuisines here is above average and prices of the Japanese cuisines are affordable.
The restaurant housed in an indoor air conditioned double shop house is tastefully decorated with simple and elegant Balinese theme.
I would love to come back to try it's bebek (duck) ..... it reminds me of "Dirty Duck Restaurant" in Bali.
The cheese tart is still being the best one I have eaten. It tastes the best when it's freshly baked. Try their hazelnut-chocolate cheese tart and matcha flavour one too. Not recommend to take away if you plan to bring back home (with long distance) and warm it with microwave, the cheese tart will become overbaked.
Excellent!!! The Snow Crab is just fantastic!!! Really a must try. The kai lan is good too.
The seafood was so fresh and we will definitely come back with more reviews
If you are wondering why this eatery uses Extra Super Tanker as a name, it is because the owner finds it rather unique and easy people to remember. Just like the distinctive of the name, the customers, in addition, said that the food they are serving also unique in taste and hardly can be found in any other restaurants. Opened in July 2004, Extra Super Tanker is a Chinese restaurant in general but well known for it Seafood menu. They however, do serve family-type food preparation too. The head of chef, also the owner of the restaurant, always make sure that the food is prepared in its best. Therefore, most of the menu listed is required to be advanced in booking.
True enough, when I bit into them, the sweet bouncy fresh prawn meat took me quite by surprise, in a very good way, of course. I was told only live tiger prawn meat is used, none of the frozen kind. Known as “Prosperous Fatt Choy Dumplings”, they are priced at RM8/piece and are perfect as a simple appetizer item.
This middle eastern restaurant has really wonderful dishes. About 8 to 10 Vege options among all the lambs, chicken and seafood. Great Taste!
Among many other bingsu I have tried, this is certainly one of my recommendations place to be, however it is certainly not cheap.
The food has been on consistent (good) quality at this latest place. Another favourite place of mine run by artist. (Like Cozy in the Rocket)
Three years ago, when a Pie Thing just started business, I was tempted to try their sweet open faced pies when I tried their savoury pies but somehow did not manage it. Recently I was in the vicinity so I dropped by to try some sweet pies. They are open during lunch times now.
Coffee , Brew Bar & Comfort Food
Rekindle is a homey cafe with great coffee and cakes. Thus, don't forget putting it in your list for the next coffee session.
The food is good, but quite pricy Interior resembling some long-standing kopitiams, inclusion of some modernized outlook plus characteristics of Far East did paid off. Well, at least we're at ease
Pumpkin, prawn and siu yoke fried meehoon... SWOON FACTOR, 9/10
All in all, this is one of the better Japanese buffets in town and I highly recommend it to those who value quality more than quantity.
It is a mix review from diners as some say it good some say it on par. For me it is decent enough.
