The dim sum here is fresh and the taste is great! Always crowded. Somehow Puchong people love dim sum. Hope Foo Hing can maintain their quality.
Overall Rating: 8/10. For the price of most dishes in the Bad Boy Cooks menu, I thought the quality of food served were quite decent - some were misses but most were hits.
Pulau Ketam Steamboat. One for the more popular steamboat around Bandar Puteri, usually crowded on weekend night.
There are lots of steamboat restaurant around Puchong, BB Ho remains the favourite for my family. No fancy stuff here but fresh food in delicious soup, with reasonable price. They have expanded now with aircond hall. I like their la la fried bihun as well.
Also known as Leong Ya.
The fish turned out to be superb!!... Apart from that, mum and papa were so overjoyed that the 'cucus' are in town, and order chicken, squid, prawns, pork ribs, sweet & sour pork and steamed eggs.
well I think I should just stick to the normal wantan mee in future and forget about the curry version!
If you are not convinced with your grilling ability, you can always ask the staff to do it for you. Then you can concentrate on the fun part – eating. Our favorite (for pork) has got to be the Shoulder Loin @ RM10 for its perfect balance of meat and fat.
The mousse-like cream cheese filling with ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ sensation, encased within a buttery crispy pastry crust, is seriously to die for! So fans of cheese and salted egg, you certainly do not want to miss it!
Serving the finest specialty roasters, Tipsy Brew O’Coffee brew by hand using syphon, hand-drip, french press and any other apparatus they deem worthy on the day.
The coffee was flavourful!
The place was packed and it looked new and clean. However, that's the extent of the positives that I can give Yuen Garden. While the dim sum looked appealling, with the proper shine and presentation to the food, the food did not taste as good as it looked.
Well.. well.. I have to admit that I am a carnivore! hehehe.
The dishes originated from Taiping, so you expect more home-cook cuisines to be served here. The ambience of the place reminds me of the olden times, with antiques of all sorts scattered around the place. It’s comfy and it really made me felt at home while enjoying my food.
Like the ambience there, it is truly nostalgic, looking at the items on the wall.
I think the food served was ok, but the service then needed some improvement.
We would urge you to try the homemade soya milk as they produced it themselves. Indeed, it's very thickened and so satisfying. It's usually served unsweetened so request for more sugar if you want.
The interior of Kikyo has a very warm and comfortable ambience. The area was lighted by something like decorated paper lanterns. There are various seating arrangements to accommodate different patrons - there are ones where you are required to take off your shoes. Very nice bamboo decorations on the wall. This place is a bit quiet and relaxing.
Overall for my verdict is slightly cheaper than Umai-ya but Umai-ya still the best ala-carte based Japanese buffet in my opinion. However, I have far more ala-carte restaurant that I have not been yet. Still to come...and hope you all will stayed tuned!
The shop has very nice design and concept. Their Malak stemboat is rather unique.Overall, it is worth for a try to experience a buffet steamboat that really can numb your tongue and mouth.
A very unique steamboat restaurant serving healthy and nice soup base with half a winter melon in it.
