The place is clean and is airconditioned, with prices just slightly more than your usual hot and sweaty coffee shops.
Great varieties of food including asian, western, mediterranean, etc.
Taste wise is very good. I finish the soup, but then one imperfection is there's very little fish in the soup. Too bad.
Kafe Bawang Merah doesn't have any ala carte dishes but actually serves food ala canteen style. It's self-service, queue and point at the pre-cooked dishes on display.

Space doesn't abound here, but they make good use of whatever they have to put up nice decorations, with a very traditional yet slightly modern theme.
