The owner is a Taiwanese lady, which I heard was a doctor (or Chinese Sin Seh) in Taiwan before migrating to Malaysia. Although all the dishes do not contain food additives, however, they are so flavorful and yet, you won't feel thirsty. The lady boss is truly an excellent chef. I can feel her passionate in cooking, and her spiritual in cooking fresh and delicious organic food. Thumbs up to the lady boss!

Overall, the food quality can be considered slightly above-average compared to others in the same town.
They serve a lot of small dishes which we normally cook at home. The environment is more comfortable compared to other cheap "Chu Char" stall or coffee shop. They serve yummy food with reasonable price.

The satisfying dinner on the road was a much needed boost before the long drive. Already missing Foret Noire, and 1UP pizza. Oh, and not forgetting the addictive cuppa.
The signature cantonese fried yee mee, the presentation is superb but the taste is not outstanding as I thought.
Koek Kee dim sum has been Sungai Petani since long long time ago. It's a "lao zi hao" (老字号) in Sungai Petani. After so many years, the residents still go back to this restaurant. I overheard a conversation between a group of uncle, they prefer the dim sum here because the the dim sum is delicious and the price is reasonable.
