Nice restaurant. The ambience’s inside the restaurant is clean and spacious. Overall the dishes are very well flavoured and delicious. The price is reasonable and it is worth visiting again.

CRC restaurant is one of the most famous Chinese restaurants in Penang, the restaurant is located at Chinese Recreation Club (CRC) along Macalister Road and Burmah Road. In order to have this dish (Buddha Jump Over Wall), we need to call in a week before for reservation as it takes sometimes for the chef to prepare the ingredients and cook.
Chinese Recreation Club Restaurant or better known as CRC Restaurant in Padang Victoria, Penang is nothing new to the folks in Penang. Numerous wedding dinners, company functions, and family "makan-makan" have been held here throughout the years, In fact I've been here a couple of times in the past, and the food has always managed to please me.

The place is a little cramped but the air ventilation is good. Menu is predictable with their signature Claypot Chicken starts at Rm 35 (small), Herbal Chicken Claypot (Rm 38) and Pig Stomach Chicken Stew (Rm 38).

Not many restaurants in town would provide quality and delicious dim sum from Shanghai or Hong Kong and at the same time at an affordable price but this restaurant.
