There is a famous stall in the Imbi market serving hainanese tea and toast bread with all the red tables.
Inside the Imbi wet market. To get there, you will need to pass through Kampung Pandan's round if you're coming from Sg. Besi. Its actually near Plaza Rakyat which is conveniently near Jalan Imbi. Not hard to find its the only market there.
Daytime 6am to 12 noon
Hainanese tea, Popiah, Chee Cheong Fun
Hainanese Tea, Half Boiled Eggs, Fried 'Lobak Kou', Hainan coffee, Mini egg tarts, Famous sisters popiah, Kaya toasted bun, Toasted kaya bread, Pan mee, Fish porridge, Chicken wings, Chicken Satay,...
Love the variety, quality and affordability of the food here, and being beside a market added a certain charm to it. My favorite is the Hainan Tea, Wantan Mee and Popiah :)
This plate of curry laksa was bursting with creamy flavour and saturated tofu puffs. Heavy going for 9am but worth the slog!
