If you fancy a sweet ending to the meal you’d be happy to know there’s quite a few desserts such as Pengat Labu, Pengat Pisang, red ruby, kuihs and etc to choose from. In fact, don’t look at the menu, just walk over to the center of the restaurant and pick directly from the dessert stand.
If you are celebrating the birthday of your close ones, you may consider doing it here as the staffs will not only sing birthday song, they also dance.
Overall, we were quite pleased with our meal. I would most definitely recommend this Malay restaurant to anyone who wish to have a good decent Malay meal in KL.
Aside ikan bakar, mixed rice is available as well. You could take some dishes from the rows and rows of dishes (frequently replenished) to go with your ikan bakar.
The restaurant was quite vacant on our visit on a weekday night, I heard that business can be very brisk on weekends and do expect the long queue on peak hour.
Dining experience here was unpleasant and the foods here was at fair standard with raging thirst after meal due to the MSG.

Today I have something secret to share with you! ~Secret Garden~ Trust me! There's really such a place in KL and the food is good! Serving also fast and efficient only thing parking is limited unless u pay n park at the open space carpark next door.
So far, we have yet to be disappointed by any meals we had and Kampung Baru and we look forward to try the other restaurants in the area. I have already earmarked a few to visit and can’t wait to return.
The location might not be the most strategic but the facade is absolutely alluring to attract one’s attention.
Their famous and delicious salt baked chicken are very popular with KLites ( their top customers!) after frolicking in the nearby hot spring resort.
The stall is famous for nasi lemak with the sambal which makes their nasi lemak different from others
