It's actually shaved ice with some toppings. It's perfect for hot days as it certainly cools you down.

At Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Hock Chin, the experience is that of an ordinary hawker restaurant where you get to sit inside or outside at the roadside (with similar table and stools, in terms of height). What's special here is the "Tauhu Bakar" dish! As you can see the fresh fish ball(s) and bean curd sheet(s) grilled over the open grill at the side of the stall.

我其实不知道潮州肉骨茶与巴生的肉骨茶有什么分别,只知道马六甲这家肉骨茶的汤比较没那么浓, 胡椒味很突出,还有上桌时老板会在肉骨茶汤上放一些西芹片,在雪隆一带是没看过相同做法的。

Es.sense Kitchen restaurant is an open buffet restaurant that featuring large picture windows and show kitchen which serves daily buffet breakfast and ala carte. The restaurant offers an al fresco dining area where allows you to gaze out the sweeping views of the Straits of Melaka while indulging in your favourites. Besides, ala carte is serving on operation hours. Essense Kitchen does serve local and western cuisine which the guest can choose their preferences. There are a few mouthwatering local delights such as Nyonya Laksa, Nasi Goreng Kampung, Hainanese Chicken Rice, etc. Perhaps you can try out Beef Hamburger, Norwegian Salmon Steak, Rib Eye Steak, etc. The restaurant seats 250 persons comfortably, is a perfect place for gathering. Besides, the restaurant does provide a 60 seats dining room which suitable for some private function.

Both meal at es-sense kitchen was a pleasant experience and definitely not a bad choice at all if you feel like lazy to go out for food hunting or deterred by the scorching weather just like us.

This eatery is a famous grill and chop place.

Vegetable soup and garlic bread come with main order. Garlic bread- soft and yet aromatically toasted. Good indeed!

So if you’re in Melaka early enough in the morning, you can drop by here for the fishhead noodles and the yong tau foo.

It’s a fair price considering it’s Equatorial, plus you are getting mostly fresh ingredients such as prawns, sliced fish, squid, chicken, beef and yong tau fu and not processed food.

I read a lot of good comment about The Kappan cendul but personal I think its just so so. Ingredient not very fresh so I not really enjoy it.
