Kinda expensive to go again. We would still happily revisit Happy Garden’s Bamboo Wanton Noodles. Again and again…. and again Heheh.
This place is definitely the real deal, and for the prices we would say that this place is absolutely a MUST TRY. The only thing they could do to achieve perfection would be to find a way to remove the “yellow mee” taste (which normally comes from processed noodles) that gives a slight imperfection to the broth. Nevertheless the gNOMes will definitely pay a second visit and more.
The restaurant inspiration comes from the simple practices of fisherman in Mediterranean who caught seafood fresh from the seas, cooked and ate the freshly cooked seafood immediately from the pan.
Well, they say "one bite 'n' you're hooked"....well, I used to be but not anymore since I've now had the privilege of eating better fish & chips elsewhere. It's funny how things taste good at one time don't seem to be so later on in life (or vice versa, in some cases, like what bitter gourd used to be for me). I think it's because our tastebuds got elevated (over time) from all that eating....I know mine did! ;) But the fact that they continue to open more outlets (the latest one being in Sunway Velocity) goes to show that some still find their fish & chips worthy for its reasonable pricing and big portions.
You can have unlimited meat supply and also choice of your soup (4 types of soup all together). The ingredients may not be much choices but it was healthy with nearly 70% are vegetable ingredients. Besides Steamboat, you can enjoy sushi prepped by the Chef.

When we stepped into Pavilion at 11 am on a Friday, we went directly to El Iberico and was told that the pork ribs will only be served at 12 noon so we went to Wild Honey (an eatery that serves brunch dishes all day) to have a light bite before lunch at noon.
They serve a variety of pancakes as well as waffles, sandwiches, salads & mains.

Dessert such as cheese cake, mille crepe, chocolate mousse cake are freshly available at the dessert counter, pairs well with WA Cafe velvety smooth coffee.
Such a lovely upbeat food court which offers true Asian cuisine. Excellent service too.

Glad I had the opportunity to try the Alaskan King Crab when they had a promotion at Manhattan Fish Market in Pavillion. Good experience.
The majority of the menu leans towards Thai specialities with Japanese offerings making up a small part of the menu only. The few that I tried, I have to say the Thai dishes made a more positive impact. The food I've managed to try here is average at best (though there's still plenty to try as the menu is quite extensive). Prices may be a little on the high side (for both types of cuisine, especially the desserts) but some of the Thai dishes do come in generous portion-sizes. I'm not sure if I'm convinced to order from the Japanese section of the menu again since they failed to nail the salmon skewer which I thought is one of the easiest things to execute. Managed by the fine folks of Chakri (of which I had the pleasure of dining before), I think the Thai dishes here are still worth checking out as they certainly won't be as expensive as Chakri. Just don't go in with too high an expectation and you should come off satisfied.
Food is good and I love the toying with your own sauce idea. And not to mention the sauce is good too.
