Bring your family, friends and loved ones for a delicious Japanese themed buffet dinner at Spoon Cafe. The contemporary and stylish cafe located at level 2 in G Hotel Kelawai is offering the buffet dinner with fully-fledged Japanese cuisines. The Japanese Buffet Dinner is available every Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, and it comes in at a wallet-friendly RM105 per person. Children from age 6 to 12 years old and senior citizens 60 years and above can enjoy the meal at RM78. Guests can opt for free flow of house beer or wine by just adding on RM65 per person.
Pricing-wise, one misconception from most people (including us) about fine dining is that the food portion is usually small compared to the premium you have to pay for.
The Fried Porridge at this place is another must try. I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of flavour in this dish and the ‘wok hei’ it possessed.

Spaghetti Aglio E Olio [RM18] The classic, but the hardest to master. They've got the right amount of everything(fried garlic, dried chili and olive oil). This is one good olio!
The restaurant setting is very simple and fully air-conditioned. Its main focus is on its fish steamboat and homemade Yong Tau Fu where the fish paste is made from mackerel fish.
Prices are slightly on the higher side but rest-assured, the quality of the food will be there.
Dim Sum are served hot and they keep sending out from kitchen while the deep fried item are store in heated glass pushing cart and customer can take easily.
Overall: 3/5 - The grilled this mutton skewer very very well. I am very impressed that I do not have to find a satay hawker stall for a delicious satay. The most important thing is the satay sauce which is rich with peanut fragrance and it is not too spicy for a person like me to enjoy.
