I am always wanted to visit Love Bites for their Cheese Pool that served with big portion of pork ribs that look to be so delicious.

Loke Thye Kee building is the place you find yourself passing by every time you drive down Burma Road from Penang Road. A distinctive landmark, this building with a cafe, restaurant and bar has ceased operations for a few months. It has since re-opened under new management – by the people that runs Blue Reef Fish & Chips.

Small bowl at RM 3.80 is really a good bargain. Filled with classic ingredients such as chicken feet, pig skin, pig intestine, herbal egg, special home blend garlic vinegar sauce and also chili paste. Love the starchy soup base with a bit of saltiness and sweetness to my liking as the amount of vinegar garlic is just nice and could be better if slightly stronger.

After trying a few of dishes of theirs, we thought they were indifferent to those hawker stalls selling Fish Head Noodles in the neighborhood and a trip dedicated to the place is unnecessary.

Hot Sizzling Fajitas with tortilla RM40++, avocado and smoked Habanero Salsa. One of the best chicken breast, very juicy and the stir fried capsicum make a wonderful combination with it.

Dou Houz (豆号馆) is a recently opened Home-stay cum cafe, the place serves very simple menu- 3 types of Pizza and a Cold Noodle-dish. No other choices but they do have aplenty of drinks; their home-made Enzymes are worth-trying.
