Lung Seng Seafood Restaurant

Overall a good spread of food for the eight of us.
When Andy suggested this place, we were all for it even cos I simply love anything "chinesey".. so here we are tonight at Bee Gaik in Ipoh Garden South.
This coffee shop opens early in the morning and closes after lunch. There are only a handful of hawker stalls here, but what they offer is quality cooking.
this could be the ONLY place in Ipoh serving Seremban-style of Grilled Crabs (some call them Baked Crabs), hence the novelty effect being lifted into a whole new realm.
From a little setup back in 1991, it is well known for serving up delicious food and has attracted many famous and celebrity patrons through the years. The restaurant facade itself was colourful and stepping into the bright, clean and spacious setup brought us relief from the scorching sun.
Assam House Restaurant @ Medan Gopeng, Ipoh
Overall I can say the meal is delighting and cheap and nice.
Being to the shop for many times, you will be assured of the delicious wan tan noodles and choices of yong tau fu there.
We left the Villa with a bloated and satisfying stomach. Food was above average and reasonably priced too. If you are nearby the vicinity, this place definitely worth dropping by.
We had about 10 of these famous Kampar Zha Yuan, loosely translated as fried balls. Fried to golden brown perfection, these fried balls were really addictive. It was flavourful and crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
I think I would like to go there again... The steamed egg looks great, right?
The ever famous Foh San dim sum is a famous haunt by tourists for some scrumptious and variety of dim sum. A little advise here, either go there as early as 7 am or as late as 11 am. Its hard to get a table during peak hour, and after you get seated bring your bill to the cart and take your own dim sum as the waitress are too busy to entertain you.
Well, there are definitely better options for dim sum in Ipoh.
Last but not least, if you think that the meats are just overwhelming and you crave for something more homely and tummy-warming, try their double boiled soups especially the one with groundnuts, chicken feet and wolf berries.
This is what I called Abundant Food to be enjoyed...The bill came to RM52... For me, it is justified...
I guess that key selling point that lure the loyalists in time and again is the smooth rice noodles, gorgeously and generously studded with dried shrimps, and his own concoction of sauces and pickled green chillies.
There are probably a dozen or more dishes to recommend to you, but trust the ladies taking your orders as they are really experienced and won’t steer you wrong.
