Overall, it was an excellent breakfast for us. It is one of the BEST CURRY NOODLE I had in a while. Perfect! The total bill was about RM 11.90 for the foods. Each of us took about 2-3 Taufu to go with our noodle. Must visit place in Ipoh for me!!
Roast pork fared pretty good to our liking with crispy skins and well-executed flavours, though nothing can beat Chee Kong Roast Pork at First Garden.
We had a few pieces on the spot and all I can say is that they are delicious especially when they are still warm. There’s a good amount of egg custard in every piece and fills up almost 90% of the shell. The sweetness of the rich and almost molten custard is just spot on and you can clearly smell and taste the buttery aroma. Other specialties to try: Swiss Roll, coconut tarts, walnut cookies and Sachima (萨其马). Come as early as possible to avoid disappointments.
We think Chee Kong Roast Pork is a must-visit in Ipoh. And due to its odd business operation hours, you might need to arrange your meal time to accommodate a vacant stomach to savour these pork delicacies and all its goodness.
I can see most of the customer is local. We all also very happy and satified with Nam Chau.
I admit that the place is rather cool and cosy, but the coffee... is rather on the normal side only.
The safest choice is, of course, the chicken rice (duh!). If you’re sharing, then ask for a plate of yin yang aka half portion of roasted chicken paired with another half portion of poached chicken.

It took about 10-15 minutes to get my order. What I love about their XXL Crispy Chicken is it will be freshly prepared once you order and it will be always served piping hot. Freshly fried chicken is brushed with salted egg sauce on the both sides before pack it in the paper bag. Additional paper bag is charged at RM 0.30 each. It's simply delicious. It has a rich salted egg taste in it. Delicious!! Salted Egg Crispy Chicken @ RM 9.90
